Dr. McVicker, is amazing. He has been our vet since we moved to Boonville. Him and his staff have always taken our concerns seriously no matter how small. He has taken care of our camels, horses,goats, cows and our kangaroo. He is straight forward and honest and always does everything he can to help us in every situation we find ourselves in. So we would like to say thank you to Dr. McVicker, Amee, and the rest of the staff at Boonslick animal hospital.

Dr. McVicker comes off a brash, blunt, and a bit rough around the edges....but he's always been kind and understanding with me and my pets. He's comforting in scary situations and he's willing to work with you as much as he can. He keeps you informed (he personally reached out to me himself each time.) The woman upfront are always sweethearts and they want to help you as much as possible. Very comforting, very understanding. (Especially the tall, black haired woman, wish I could remember her name. Absolutey spectacular at her job.)

While I did not use their services, I had called about an appointment to have my dog put to rest. They didnt have any availability, but the desk person (I think the name was Cora?) was so kind and took my info in case of a cancelation. They had one the next day and she called immediately. I already have other arrangements made for my girl- but I was very thankful they reached out. Thank you for your kindness and compassion. ❤️

After going to three different vets in Columbia and us tired of getting the run around from them, we decided to give Boonslick a call. They fit us in same day and we were finally able to get a diagnosis instead of just labeling him as high allergies. So happy to finally have answers. On top of that, for everything they did with my dog, the price was not bad at all. We will be switching all of our animals to them!

I have lost pets in the past but none like my guy Regis. He was absolutely connected to my soul. Dr. Bail was and is a Vet that exhaust herself and attempt every option at finding ways for you to have more time with your pet. Beyond that she and staff are great at consoling the owner and spending delicate moments by your side as one attempts to say goodbye. Thank you
